The paper proposes a range of options that are being considered to enhance the current regulatory framework for mining claims in Queensland. It has been informed by feedback received on the Queensland Resources Industry Development Plan through extensive consultation with key government agencies and external stakeholders, including small mining associations and tenure holders.
We invite you to now provide feedback on the proposed changes to enhance the regulatory framework for mining claims to address the key issues identified through the consultation process.
